Carol BufithisInstructor/Facilitator

Carol Bufithis BS, LMT is a seasoned educator and body worker. She offers a wealth of knowledge that originates from several decades of experience in both fields. It is evident in her seminars that her professions have been a source of great of joy and inspiration, qualities she wishes to pass along to others.

She began her teaching career in public schools in the 70's. Carol was a personal development trainer with PMT, working with the State of Connecticut in the 80's. She has been a faculty member at Connecticut Center for Massage Therapy since 1984 where she has taught both hands-on classes, introductory massage classes, teacher training courses and personal and professional development subjects. Carol has been teaching continuing educations courses on the topics of Ethics and Self Care throughout the state for the last 10 years.  She was a presenter at New England Regional Conference in 2011.

She has been a body worker for over 3 decades with an emphasis in energy work and body mind connection.  She is the owner and manager of Therapeutic Massage Center in Middlefield Ct. that she established in 1983. She has managed over 50 therapists who have worked there with her over the years.

Currently Carol is providing Coaching sessions to help clients who are making transitions in their lives. She also assists with skills and strategies for teachers to help reduce stress and create more joy in their daily work.

In her spare time she is writing a book called “Making Choices” and also working on a set of personal development flash cards to improve partner communication skills.

Carol is a member of the American Massage Therapy Association.

Carol Bufithis is approved by the National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage & Bodywork (NCBTMB) as a continuing education Approved Provider. ( Provider # 705 )
